2nd National AI in Community Care Event: Forum & Workshop
The 2nd National AI in Community Care Event: Forum & Workshop is in a series of activities aimed at highlighting the potential for the application of AI in the Community and Home Care Sectors.
It builds on the highly successful forum in November 2024 and a range of project and research endeavours by Global Community Resourcing and Swinburne University Future Self Design Living Lab.
This event is aimed at spotlighting potential applications which are growing an evidence base, the contemporary issues related to the practicalities of incorporating AI into practice, and how providers need to position themselves for the digital future AI provides.
Our endeavours are aimed at codesigning futures with users and providers to ensure quality fit for purpose impact and outcomes from the incorporation of AI in Community and Home care practice.

Making Sense of AI in Aged and Community Care:
A Co-design Toolkit
This card deck helps your team to have the conversations that matter around AI - from specific roles to strategic positioning. Away from the hype and anxiety, the aim is to build a shared understanding of what AI could mean for your organisation, your clients and your workforce in a safe space. Teams explore what AI should do to support care through exploring metaphors, testing assumptions, stress-test future scenarios, and identify emerging roles. Outcomes can be translated into priorities for action. With little need for facilitation, the card deck supports your team whether you are just starting to think about AI or are already implementing it. No AI expertise is required - only a willingness to engage in a timely conversation.

Instructions for Printing:
Print the cards on A4 paper in portrait orientation, short-edge flip, double-sided. Use a higher GSM if you are likely to use them more than once. The cards are in colour; however, they are usable in black and white. Have the cards guillotined at a printer or cut into four. The instructions for use are in the printout
