In 2017, The Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council appointed Global Community Resourcing to provide the Secretariat duties for the company.
The Aged Care Industry Information Technology Council (ACIITC), was formed by Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) and Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) in 2007. The ACIITC aims to provide the aged care industry opportunities to adopt technology and disseminate findings from the uptake of technology in the national aged care industry.
As the secretariat, Global Community Resourcing has been the main point of contact for the ACIITC, coordinated board meetings, created company policy and procedures, event managed committee consultations and ITAC Conference Site Tours and assisted the ACIITC in preparing and submitting its submission for the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety in August 2019.
