‘Caring for Carers of People with Dementia’ - Visit to Central West Queensland

Global Community Resourcing recently participated in a tour around Central West Queensland with CQUniversity Caring for Carers of People with Dementia Project.

The CQU Caring for Carers of People with Dementia Program is a free program implemented to help assist isolated Australian carers of people with dementia. Lack of knowledge, less accessible resources and support can often be a challenge for those who live in rural communities.

Global Community Resourcing Coordinated the Central West Queensland visit stopping in Longreach and Barcaldine. Previous project tours have stopped in Wide Bay, Rockhampton and Cairns.

Global Community Resourcing would like to thank all who attended and travelled to hear about the CQU Caring for Carers of People with Dementia Project in Central West Queensland.

This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health – Dementia and Aged Care Service Fund.
