Ageing Enabled & Innovating on Island Communities - Lamb Island

Aged residents and their carers are invited to a consultation event regarding how smart technology can be designed and used for aged care.
About this Event:
The free community consultation events are part of the Redland City Council funded Ageing Enabled and Innovatively on Island Communities project that seeks to take a fresh look at contemporary issues related to older people on island communities and to investigate improved outcomes with the community for the community.
The community consultations will provide the community with an opportunity to have their say on how innovative technology solutions could be applied to address issues in respect to social isolation, emergency notification, limited mobility, accessibility, health care and transport.
The Ageing Enabled and Innovatively on Island Communities Community Consultations is proudly supported by Redland District Committee on the Ageing (RDCOTA), Redland Savvy Senior Network, Global Community Resourcing, Community Care Smart Assistive Technology Collaborative, Redland City Council and the Macleay Island Progress Association.
